About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of scd.awslpu.in, your event registration, and your participation in AWS Student Community Day Jalandhar 2026.

By creating an account, registering for the event, purchasing a ticket, or attending the event, you agree to comply with these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the applicable Code of Conduct.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not create an account, register for the event, or attend the event.

The Event

AWS Student Community Day Jalandhar 2026 is a community-led conference organized by the AWS Student Builder Group at Lovely Professional University.

The event is part of the broader AWS community ecosystem and brings together students, developers, cloud enthusiasts, speakers, and technology professionals.

The event is not directly operated by Amazon Web Services unless explicitly stated. References to AWS programs, services, community initiatives, or representatives do not change the community-led nature of the event.

Accounts & Registration

Certain event services require you to create an account. Each email address may be associated with only one account.

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with another person.
  • An account or registration may not be transferred to another attendee.
  • You must not create accounts for the purpose of impersonating another person.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the Code of Conduct, or applicable law.

Tickets & Payments

AWS Student Community Day Jalandhar 2026 may require a paid registration. Ticket prices, availability, and applicable terms will be displayed on the registration platform.

Payments are processed through Razorpay. By making a payment, you authorize the applicable payment transaction for the ticket selected during registration.

REFUND WINDOW

72 HOURS

Attendees may request a refund up to 72 hours before the scheduled event date and time.

Refund requests submitted within the permitted refund window are eligible for a refund according to the applicable payment process.

Tickets and registrations are non-transferable. A registration purchased by one attendee cannot be transferred, resold, or assigned to another person.

Event Changes & Cancellation

The organizers may make reasonable changes to the event when necessary, including changes to speakers, sessions, schedules, activities, venue arrangements, or other operational details.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes through the website or official event communication channels.

ORGANIZER CANCELLATION

100% REFUND

If the event is cancelled by the organizers, eligible paid attendees will receive a full refund.

SIGNIFICANT EVENT CHANGE

100% REFUND

If a significant organizer-initiated change means the attendee no longer wishes to participate, a full refund will be available.

This refund commitment applies to organizer-initiated event changes or cancellation and does not make the organizers responsible for separate travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses incurred by attendees.

Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, volunteers, organizers, partners, and other participants are expected to follow the event's Code of Conduct.

The Code of Conduct is published separately at /code-of-conduct.

Violations may result in warnings, removal from the event, cancellation of registration, suspension or termination of an account, restriction from future community activities, or other appropriate action depending on the nature and severity of the violation.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the event website and related services only for lawful and legitimate purposes.

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another person's account or information.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or damage the website or event infrastructure.
  • Upload malware, malicious code, or other harmful content.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, security controls, or access restrictions.
  • Scrape, collect, or misuse attendee information without authorization.
  • Use the platform for spam, scams, fraud, or unauthorized commercial activity.
  • Impersonate another person, organization, speaker, volunteer, or event representative.
  • Use the event platform to distribute content that violates applicable law.

Event Content & Recording

Speakers and contributors generally retain ownership of their original presentations, demonstrations, photographs, videos, code, and other materials unless otherwise agreed.

The organizers retain rights to event-specific materials they create, including website content, event graphics, designs, branding, and organizational materials, subject to third-party intellectual property rights.

Attendees may record sessions and event activities and may upload their recordings to their own platforms, provided that such activity does not violate applicable law, the Code of Conduct, speaker restrictions, venue rules, or the rights of other participants.

Speakers may request reasonable restrictions on recording specific sessions or portions of their presentations.

Photography & Media

By attending the event, you acknowledge that photography, videography, livestreaming, and other forms of event documentation may take place.

Event media may be used for community communications, social media, event recaps, websites, promotional materials, and future community activities.

A public event gallery may be published within approximately 72 hours after the event. If you have a concern about an image appearing in the public event gallery, you may contact us during that period through the privacy contact listed on this website.

After content has been published through social media galleries or other public promotional channels, removal requests may not be possible in every circumstance.

Certificates & Digital Badges

Digital event badges may be issued through Credly to attendees who satisfy the applicable attendance requirements.

Registration alone does not automatically guarantee eligibility for a digital badge. Attendance and other event-specific requirements may be verified before a badge is issued.

The organizers may withhold or revoke a badge or participation recognition where an attendee does not meet the stated eligibility requirements or has materially violated the event Terms or Code of Conduct.

Credly's own terms and policies may apply to the creation, acceptance, storage, and sharing of digital credentials.

Sponsors & Partners

The event may include sponsors, partners, exhibitors, community organizations, or other participating companies.

Attendees may choose to interact with these organizations, including visiting booths, participating in activities, or voluntarily providing their information.

Any information you provide directly to a sponsor or third party may be subject to that organization's own privacy policy and terms. We encourage attendees to review those policies before providing personal information.

Third-Party Services

The event website and related services rely on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, communications, security, and credentialing.

These services may have their own terms, policies, and availability requirements. We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability, content, or policies of third-party services.

Travel & Personal Belongings

Unless explicitly announced by the organizers, attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation, accommodation, meals, and other personal expenses associated with attending the event.

Attendees are also responsible for taking care of their personal belongings, including laptops, mobile devices, bags, wallets, and other valuables.

The organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual Property

The event name, website, visual identity, original graphics, written content, designs, and other materials created specifically for AWS Student Community Day Jalandhar 2026 are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit event materials without appropriate authorization.

AWS names, logos, trademarks, service marks, and other AWS intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a license to third-party trademarks.

Disclaimer

The event, website, and associated services are provided on an available basis. While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and a reliable event experience, we cannot guarantee that every aspect of the website or event will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Speakers, sessions, schedules, sponsors, activities, venues, and other event details may change when reasonably necessary.

Attendees are responsible for making their own decisions regarding travel, accommodation, participation, and interactions with third-party services.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the organizers are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from participation in the event or use of the website.

This includes, where applicable, losses relating to travel, accommodation, personal belongings, third-party services, technical interruptions, schedule changes, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of the organizers.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Age Requirement

AWS Student Community Day Jalandhar 2026 is intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

By creating an account or registering for the event, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.

Changes to These Terms
